On May 28, BYD announced the launch of its proprietary Xuanji A3 System-on-Chip (SoC), processed on a 4-nanometer node—said to be China’s first self-developed 4nm automotive driving SoC. It comes as the Chinese automaker would offer Full Damage Cover for the Urban Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) function of its God’s Eye BYD Drive Assistance System in China, provided the consumer upgrades to the God’s Eye 5.0 version, which leverages large-scale Artificial Intelligence (AI) models and reinforcement learning with updated decision logic and replaces the fixed-rule-based strategies in previous implementations.
