The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 (MT6989W) system-on-chip (SOC) was built on 300 mm wafers using TSMC’s 4nm (N4P) FinFET high-k metal gate (HKMG) CMOS process. TSMC’s N4P as the third major enhancement of TSMC’s 5nm family, will deliver an 11% performance boost over the original N5 technology and a 6% boost over N4.
