The SVPTM WX is Trident’s system-on-chip solution targeted for the converging HDTV-ready and PC-ready LCD TV, PDP TV, and DLP TV applications where high precision processing of video and data are required. It includes dual-purposed triple 10 bit high recision and high-speed video ADCs and Trident’s DCRe (M), the seventh generation Digital Cinema Reality engine containing 3D-comb video decoder with programmable filter. All video interfaces to support digital video, audio video, and PC data applications are integrated in the SVP WX. The focus of this report is the DDR2 memory interface found along one edge of the die, including the I/O slice and digital delay locked loops (DLLs) found above the DDR2 I/O block. An I/O cell for DQS1 and DQ10 are shown, as well as the path to the flip-flops where the data is clocked in or clocked out.
