Semiconductor sales increased 4% last week. However, they were down 19% from this time in 2022. The IC weather cooled 1˚F in Temperate conditions. Zooming in on Auto IC this week, the 13-wk MA is up nearly 18%. TechInsights forecasts Auto IC sales will reach $38B in 2023 with a Y/Y increase of 10%, coming off two huge growth years in 2021 and 2022.
TechInsights’ IC Supply/Demand held in Tight conditions. More than Moore Foundry moved to Shortage from Tight conditions. All of the other segments remain unchanged.
Electronics’ Retail Prices are trending down.
