TechInsights expects global smartphone sales to rebound by 0.6% year over year in 2026 under the best-case scenario. Forecasts for North America and Western Europe have been revised upward through 2030, reflecting improving economic conditions and stronger-than-expected premium device demand. In contrast, many emerging markets have been revised downward, incorporating assumptions of higher smartphone prices and ongoing supply constraints. Asia-Pacific will remain by far the world’s largest smartphone region, maintaining its dominant share through the forecast period. By 2030, the “Big Five” markets—China, India, the United States, Brazil, and Indonesia—will continue to lead global smartphone sales.
