The Aqara Door and Window Sensor P2 DW-S02 for opening doors and windowsworks on the principle of contact between a magnet (Include Accessory Unit NE#17 Magnet) and a controller (Include Main Unit IC#2 Hall Effect Sensor). The change of the state of the device occurs when the magnet moves away/closer to the sensor. It automatically sends (By IC#1 Zigbee/Thread/Bluetooth LE 5.0 Communication Controller and BT Antenna) a signal to Matter Border Router Hubs and then to a Matte compatible app. The Accessory Unit has an alternative thin magnet plate which is attached to Supporting Materials. It is used in communication wireless protocols: Thread, BLE. The device is only sold in white. Power is provided by a replaceable CR123A battery. The device is fixed with stickers, without the need for screws. Other Aqara analyzes we have analyzed include the Aqara Smart Video Doorbell G4 SVD-C01.
