The following is a report of the Murata mmWave Antenna in Package (AiP) module (SS1D14076) Architecture Analysis. The Murata SS1D14076 AiP contains the mm-wave antenna array and the RF Front-End/transceiver for the FR2 frequency bands n260 (37 GHz – 40 GHz) and n261(27.5 GHz – 28.35 GHz). It includes five dual-band, dual-polarization stacked patch antennae, the RF Transceiver die and the PMIC die. The Murata mmWave AiP (SS1D14076) was found on the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G (SAM-SM-A536V) smartphone.
