The first processor manufactured with a 5 nm lithography process, the A14 has an 11% smaller die surface area than its predecessor, the A13, manufactured with 7 nm technology. Moreover, the A14 Bionic includes a 16-core Neural Engine, which, according to Apple, can perform up to 11 trillion operations per second and improves the machine learning performance.
