This report presents a power floorplan analysis (PFR) of the Power Integrations INN3949CQ 1700 V SiC automotive switcher. It is the first SiC product from Power Integrations. The 1700 V flyback switcher IC is AECQ-100 automotive qualified. It is suitable for automotive applications such as onboard charging and battery management.
The image set for a standard PFR project is derived from decapsulation of two samples, followed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis of a cross section of the power transistor die and optical analysis of the power transistor die delayered to the substrate or gate level.
