This report presents an Exploratory Report on the Cymbet CBC050-M8C surface-mount, solid state, lithium ion, rechargeable energy storage device. The CBC050-M8C comes packaged in a 8 mm x 8 mm x 0.9 mm quad flat no lead (QFN) package. The report includes cross-sectional scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and optical micrographs of the package structure, plus the results of SEM energy dispersive X-ray (SEM-EDS) analysis of the package materials.
