This report presents a Circuit Analysis of the ternary CAM (TCAM) embedded in the Broadcom BCM56850 Ethernet switch, also known as the StrataXGS Trident II. The BCM56850 device is the latest addition to Broadcom's StrataXGS family of Ethernet switches, targeting mega data centers and cloud-scale networking.
