Texas Instruments OMAP4430FCBS Multimedia Device Partial Circuit Analysis of SRAM Macro
The Texas Instruments OMAP 4430 is a high performance application processor designed for smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices. The OMAP 4 processor balances processing across four main engines: a programmable multimedia engine based on Texas Instrument’s C64x DSP and power-efficient, multi-format hardware accelerators; general purpose processing based on the dual-core ARM® Cortex™-A9 MPCore™ supporting symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) and capable of speeds of more than 1 GHz per core; a high-performance programmable graphics engine; and an Image Signal Processor (ISP) for unparalleled video and imaging performance. The OMAP4430 operates at up to 1 GHz and is built on a 45 nm CMOS process. This report is a Circuit Analysis of the OMAP4430 SRAM block and includes hierarchical schematics of the cell array, data path, address path, SRAM control, Input MUX and Latch, VDDINT generator, and output circuit. The analysis is delivered in the ICWorks Browser software.
