Dr. Jeongdong Choe brings nearly 30 years of semiconductor experience spanning DRAM, NAND Flash, NOR Flash, SRAM, logic, and emerging memory technologies. Before joining TechInsights, he spent more than two decades in R&D at SK hynix and Samsung Electronics.

Today, Dr. Choe leads TechInsights' widely recognized quarterly memory technology roadmaps and regularly presents at international conferences, providing deep technical insight based on reverse engineering and competitive semiconductor analysis.

Mike Walden is Vice President of Semiconductor Materials at TechInsights, where he leads market research, forecasting, and analysis covering the semiconductor materials supply chain. With more than 25 years of industry experience, he specializes in modeling market trends and forecasting key indicators, including semiconductor revenues, wafer starts, OEM equipment demand, and critical materials such as silicon wafers and sputtering targets. Through data-driven research and strategic analysis, Mike helps semiconductor companies, suppliers, and investors understand the forces shaping the global semiconductor ecosystem.

Before joining TechInsights through the acquisition of TECHCET, Mike held leadership roles at IBM, SUMCO, MEMC/SunEdison, Zing Semiconductor, and Okmetic, building deep expertise in cost analysis, supply chain management, and semiconductor materials markets. He holds an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from Morehead State University.

Walt Coon is Director of NAND and Memory Markets at TechInsights, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the memory industry. He leads research focused on NAND and the broader memory market, helping clients navigate pricing trends, supply and demand dynamics, geopolitical developments, and emerging demand drivers such as AI. Before joining TechInsights, Walt held senior memory research roles at IHS Markit and Yole Développement. He also spent 16 years at Micron Technology in engineering, corporate development, and other strategic roles.
