Global 5G smartphone shipments continued to grow year over year (YoY) in Q1 2026, with the Middle East and Africa outpacing other regions. Asia Pacific remained the largest market, accounting for over half of global 5G shipments. Apple solidified its leadership over the year, followed by Samsung. Major Chinese brands captured share, except Xiaomi and Huawei, whose shipments declined YoY. The combined volume share of the global top 10 remained broadly flat, while micro vendors were picking up in this segment.
