TechInsights’ survey of consumers in North America, China, and Western Europe shows a significant regional difference in awareness of core technologies in ADAS, OTA Updates, and software and AI features, with consumers in China showing the highest awareness and familiarity, and Western Europe the lowest overall. Awareness of more tangible safety features, such as automated emergency braking and lane keeping assist, is higher than that of software features, such as OTA updates, in-car payment systems, and in-vehicle app stores.
