Samsung S2MIW06 is a next‑generation wireless charging power management IC (PMIC) aiming at pushing wireless charging characteristics closer to wired‑charging performance. S2MIW06 supports all Qi charging profiles and can deliver up to 50 W of wireless power transfer, which also includes baseline (5 W), extended (15 W), and magnetic power profile (25 W). The device can deliver a high power‑transfer efficiency of up to ~98% on the receiver IC and uses reliable in‑band communication between the charger and device to ensure safety, thermal control, and stable charging.
