Initially, it seemed the Afeela 1 and Honda 0 were separately developed vehicles that shared little in common. However, a closer look at announced specifications reveal the two vehicles may share significant similarities in hardware, software and E/E architectures. A higher level of shared resources may be critical in strengthening the business case for Sony Honda Mobility’s upscale startup brand, which is launching modestly in limited markets in the US and Japan.
