The Fitbit Charge 6 G3MP5 is the latest activity tracker from Fitbit Inc. and an improved successor to the Fitbit Charge 5 FB421. The Charge 6 has a 1.04” OLED Display. In both devices, the Display/Touchscreen Subsystem is made by Truly Opto-electronics and has the same part number. The Display Panel and touchscreen Module are separated in this subsystem. The Charge 6’s dimensions are: 36.71 mm × 23.23 mm × 11.20, and the device weighs 14.9 grams, while the dimensions of the Charge 5 are: 36.77 mm × 22.93 mm × 11.15 mm and it weighs 15.0 grams. Battery dimensions in the Fitbit Charge 6 G3MP5 are: 18.15 mm × 15.03 mm × 2.57 mm, and the capacity is 65 mAh, while in the Fitbit Charge 5 FB421 the capacity is 65 mAh and the dimensions are: 18.65 × 16.28 × 2.51.

The device does not support wireless charging. The charging system is based on pins. Comparing the Fitbit Charge 6 to its predecessor, the latest model has a Haptic Side Button that allows for more interaction with the device. The Fitbit Charge 6 has new smart features thanks to built-in Google apps. The manufacturer advertised that the Charge 5 is water-resistant to 50 meters and has 5 ATM- rated resistance level under the ISO standard 22810:2010.
