TechInsights' Semiconductor Analytics Report
Semiconductor sales were up 5% last week and were down 19% from this time in 2022. The IC weather declined 1° to Cool conditions. Zooming in on Analog & Power this week, the 13-week MA has been falling rapidly to a 0.1% gain last week, down from 19.5% at the beginning of this year. TechInsights forecasts Analog & Power sales will fall 4% YoY to $109B in 2023.
TechInsights’ IC Supply/Demand Heat Map suggests the market is in Loose conditions. NAND went from Loose to Balanced, IDM went from Tight to Balanced, Foundry More Moore and More than Moore went to Glut conditions, OSAT moved from Tight to Balanced, and Auto went from Balanced to Loose conditions. DRAM remains in Loose conditions and Analog & Power remains in Balanced conditions.
Retail prices of electronics continue to fall.
