Semiconductor sales were up 5% last week and were down 21% from this time in 2022. The IC weather declined 1° and remains in Temperate conditions. Zooming in on Logic this week, the 13-week MA is down 14%. TechInsights forecasts Logic sales will fall 4% YoY to $268B in 2023.
TechInsights’ IC Supply/Demand Heat Map suggests the market remains in Balanced conditions. DRAM and NAND moved from Saturated to Loose. Foundry More Moore went from Balanced to Saturated while More than Moore went to Loose and OSAT Loosened to Tight conditions. IDM and Auto remain unchanged in Tight and Balanced conditions, respectively.
Retail prices of electronics continue to fall.
