Dear G. Dan,
Join us Thursday, Sept. 29 at 12:30 pm EDT for the complimentary SIA/SRC Webinar - Collaboration Towards Decadal Plan Goals: Emerging Semiconductor Technologies. The SRC-NIST nCORE (nanoelectronic COmputing REsearch) program sets an aggressive research agenda for emerging semiconductor technologies. Examples include advanced spintronic materials and devices, defect-engineered ferroelectrics for emerging memory devices, exploring new materials and physics concepts based on a first principles, revolutionary thermal management solutions, innovative metrology, and more. Research vectors include novel computing paradigms, fundamental material, device, and interconnect research, advanced manufacturing and nanofabrication, innovative metrology and characterization, and computational models.

The main goal of this webinar is to present the “success stories” from SRC’s nCORE program with NSF, NIST, and industry partners, and identify a compelling research agenda for the next wave of semiconductor manufacturing based on the Decadal Plan for Semiconductors.

Speakers include Eric Breckenfeld, Director of Technology Policy at Semiconductor Industry Association; Stacey Bent, Jagdeep and Roshni Singh Professor at Stanford University; Joerg Appenzeller, Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University; Blanka Magyari-Köpe, Technical Manager, R&D at TSMC; Jian-Ping Wang, Robert F. Hartmann Chair / Distinguished McKnight University Professor at University of Minnesota; Judy Cha, Professor, Materials Science and Engineering at Cornell University; and David Gundlach, Chief, Nanoscale Device Characterization Division at National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The session will be moderated by Steve Kramer, Principle Engineer at Micron Technology.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, Sept. 29 at 12:30 pm EDT for the complimentary webinar!
