RF Industry Review Q1 2024: Financials

Despite seasonally weak mobile phone shipments, sales increased an average of 9% for radio component suppliers reporting results. At the same time, median profitability as defined by net income divided by sales improved slightly for RF component suppliers. Sales improved for bellwether firms TSMC, Qualcomm, MediaTek, and Broadcom, with notably strong profits for TSMC, InterDigital, Texas Instruments, onSemi, and Qualcomm.
