Global wearable shipments rebound in 2025 and forecast growth into 2026, led by Apple upgrades and rising smart glasses adoption.

Global wearable shipments grew by 5.9% in 2025 and are forecasted to grow by 3.3% in 2026. This follows declines of 0.9% in 2024, of 5% in 2023, and of 6% in 2022. Despite tariff and RAM uncertainty, growth remained healthy in 2025 and is expected to continue into 2026, with a strong upgrade cycle for Apple and high growth in smart glasses (albeit from a low base). Apple, Huawei, and Samsung are expected to remain the market leaders in the global wearable devices market, with Meta and Garmin growing swiftly. In addition to total wearables, device type breakouts for smartwatches and fitness bands are included. This report forecasts global wearables shipments by device type by quarter for 20 of the world's most prominent vendors from 2017 to 2026.
