In October, the Microprocessor Report team examined Intel’s 288-core Clearwater Forest datacenter CPU, Achronix’s VP815 FPGA accelerator card for scalable AI inference, and Arm’s Lumex Compute Subsystem (CSS) platform, which introduced a new tiered IP architecture for mobile devices.
