TechInsights slightly tweaked up 2025 global smartphone shipment forecast number in this version, to factor the tailwind from the extended smartphone subsidies in China, as well as the improved outlook in Japan, South East Asia and Middle East. However, North America, Western Europe and India 2025 forecast numbers have been slightly chopped down, largely due to the macroeconomic uncertainties (tariff, trade war, exchange rate volatility, higher inflation rate etc.). Other regions broadly stay from previous version without major updates.
