This report presents an Exploratory Analysis of the Aptina AR1810 18 MP CMOS image sensor from the Nikon 1 V3 mirrorless interchangeable lens camera with on-chip phase detection pixels. The Aptina AR1810 CMOS image sensor was subjected to plan-view and cross section analysis using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), scanning capacitance microscopy (SCM), and scanning spreading resistance microscopy (SSRM). The SCM and SSRM analysis focused on the P-well that lies between the photocathodes.
