In the Apple AirPods Max A2096, design wins are shared by several manufacturers. Most ICs are present in quantities of two as they appear in each ear cup because of their independent chipsets. Apple itself provided two 343S00404 Bluetooth SoCs which are the main part of each ear cup, managing all the minor ICs. Apple also provided two 338S00517 power management and audio codec ICs, in cooperation with Dialog Semiconductor. Power management is also handled by Texas Instruments’ SN2501 battery charger IC.
