As the recently appointed Research Director of Semiconductor Market Analysis, Stephen Entwistle is directly responsible for ensuring TechInsights products excel at serving the semiconductor industry. Over a career spanning both engineering and marketing roles, he has acquired a deep understanding of the inter-relationships between the technology, product development, and marketing issues present in the semiconductor electronics industry.

Stephen has a passion for helping clients, and the industry at large, make better decisions. As an analyst, he possesses a strategic commercial acumen combined with a thorough understanding of electronics technical knowledge. This has afforded him the insight to serve every client in the best way possible. He believes that equally important to convincing clients to invest in a new product of business, is persuading clients when not to invest.

Stephen is often invited to speak at major conferences and to author feature articles in industry journals. In previous positions, he carried out numerous large-scale projects focused on advanced components for clients such as Microsoft, Nokia, ARM, Bose, Vodafone, Infineon, Freescale, and others.
