As the Director of Connected Home Devices at TechInsights, Andreas Koehler has over 30 years of experience across the automotive, consumer electronics, wireless, and IoT industries. He provides leadership and expertise for a team of analysts responsible for delivering market data and forecasts, qualitative analysis, and tactical support to vendors, service providers, and platform providers across the Connected Home ecosystem. Andreas has spent many years working with business and strategic partners at tech vendors, helping with business case development and evaluation, start-up support, go to market strategy, product and service portfolio analysis, competitive analysis, customer segmentation, and benchmarking studies. He enjoys having the opportunity to work closely with clients, helping them to fully understand the evolution of consumer electronics and services, and the complex dynamics of competitors within the industry.

Over the years, Andreas has had a variety of roles serving a diverse client base including chip vendors, consumer electronics device manufacturers, global tech companies, and service providers. Before joining TechInsights he headed the European consulting practice at Strategy Analytics, delivering custom projects of global scope while providing strategic and tactical support to clients within the wider communications industry.
