Semiconductor sales increased 3% last week and were up 13% from this time last year. Zooming in on DRAM IC, the 13-week MA jumped 12% last week, marking the second consecutive week in positive territory since July 2022. TechInsights forecasts DRAM IC sales will plunge 38% YoY to $51 billion in 2023.
Retail prices of electronics are decreasing.
