Samsung S6575 Wi-Fi 6E/BT 5.4 SoC Floorplan Analysis

Following a long hiatus, Samsung entered the 6 GHz unlicensed spectrum with its SA56375-1E Wi-Fi 6E/BT 5.4 module. Launched in 2022, the previous Samsung Wi-Fi 6/BT 5.3/FM SoC, the S6566, with its advanced architecture comprising an integrated Wi-Fi/BT RF FE, was a pioneering device in the class. The device was showcased in Samsung's flagship Galaxy S24/24+/24 Ultra smartphones, although from a Wi-Fi protocol standpoint, it all stopped at Wi-Fi 6. For all Samsung phones featuring Wi-Fi 6E (IEEE 802.11ax) and Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) capabilities, Qualcomm SoC components have been used. A previous generation, the S6565, was introduced in 2020 as a Wi-Fi 6 SoC without integrated RF FE.
