RF Industry Review Q4 2023: Financials

With an uptick in mobile phone shipments in Q4, sales increased an average of 5.4% for radio component suppliers reporting results. Despite this, median profitability as defined by net income divided by sales decreased slightly from 10% to 8% sequentially for the companies in our sample. Sales and profits improved for bellwether firms Qualcomm, MediaTek, Qorvo, and Skyworks with the increase in mobile phone shipments and a reduction in inventory drawdown.
