Global handset shipments rebounded for two quarters in a row, after nine consecutive quarters of decline, by 7% YoY in Q1 2024, signalling that market shows a clearer sign of stabilization. Several Chinese brands including Tecno, Honor, Xiaomi and Huawei drove the shipments growth. Apple and Samsung became the number one handset vendors in six countries respectively while Xiaomi became the number one vendor in Russia.
