The motherboard, although having a different form factor, shares most of its main components with the motherboard from Supermicro’s GPU SuperServerSYS-749GE-TNRT –the previous server computer TechInsights analyzed, most notably the Baseboard Management Controller and the Platform Controller Hub (motherboard chipset). The redundant Power Supply Units were manufactured by Compuware Technology. The CloudDCSuperServeris a 1U rack-mountable server designed for web and cloud computing applications. It supports dual 4th and 5th Gen Intel Xeon CPUs (LGA-4677) with up to 4 TB DDR5 memory. It features four hot-swap 3.5/2.5” SATA/NVMe/SAS drive bays and two internal M.2 drive sockets, and two AIOM networking slots. It has support for Intelligent Platform Management Interface v. 2.0, with a dedicated LAN, Serial COM and two USB 3.0 ports at the back of the device. The system is powered by two redundant 860 W power supply units, and air cooled by six fans with air flow guiding shrouds.
