The Google Pixel 7a GHL1X is the latest budget smartphone from Google, succeeding the Pixel 6a. It was released on December 5, 2022. The mobile runs on the Android 13 operating system. This model (GHL1X) was made for Europe region.

Differences between the Pixel 7a and Pixel 6a:

  • 90 Hz Display in 7a version (60 Hz in 6a)
  • Completely new chipset
  • Google Tensor 2 in 7a version (Google Tensor in 6a)
  • Improved cameras, especially Main Rear Camera (64 MP in 7a, 12.2 MP in 6a)
  • Wireless charging in 7a (no in 6a)
  • 8 RAM memory in 7a version (6 GB RAM in 6a)
  • Increased price ($499.99 7a and $339.99 6a)

 

Differences between the Pixel 7a and Pixel 7:

  • Larger display in 7 version (6.3 inches compared with 6.1 inches)
  • Pixel 7a has better Rear Ultra-Wide and Front cameras then Pixel 7 (13 MP 120˚ and 12 MP, 114˚ Ultra-Wide, 13 MP and 10.8 MP Front respectively)
  • They use the same new chipset
  • In Pixel 7 faster charging then in Pixel 7a (20 W and 18 W wired, 20W wireless charging and 7.5 wireless charging respectively)
  • In Pixel 7 Back Cover made from glass, in Pixel 7a made from plastic
  • Pixel 7 has reverse wireless charging (Pixel 7a no)

  • Samsung provide chipset for Pixel 7a (Qualcomm provide chipset for Samsung S23)
