Q1 2024: Samsung: Record-High Smartphone ASP

Samsung shipped 60.0 million smartphones globally in Q1 2024, down 2% YoY, blaming the intensified competition in emerging markets such as Asia Pacific and Central & Latin America. Despite minor shipment fall, Samsung’s smartphone wholesale revenue registered annual growth driven by a record-high ASP. In this quarter, Samsung’s profit margin remained in double-digit zone.
