This report presents a Basic Functional Analysis of the Samsung S5E5430B01 die found inside the Samsung Exynos Octa 5430 PoP module, which is an application processor device. The Exynos 5430 was extracted from the Samsung Galaxy Alpha SM-G850L 4G LTE-A smartphone. The application processor die is packaged in a flip-chip, Pb-free, BGA package and features a quad-core 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A15, a quad-core 1.3 GHz Arm Cortex-A7, a six-core ARM Mali-T628 MP6 GPU, and numerous digital cores.
