Analysis: ACCESORIES: Global Bluetooth Headset Sales, Installed Base and Revenue Forecast to 2028

Bluetooth headsets have become must have product for many smartphone owners as vendors remove the 3.5mm plug from smartphones. APAC is the biggest market for Bluetooth headsets, followed by North America and Western Europe. Africa has emerged as one of the fastest growing regions whereas India has become second largest market after China. Bluetooth headset revenues will grow slightly in 2023, driven by TWS headsets but also banded headsets. In 2022 growth slowed due to the economic downturn, but the BT HS market remains a growing industry. Growth has slowed in many markets due economic uncertainty. Revenue growth is fastest in the stereo Entry- and Mid-tier segments. The in-ear segment (tethered and TWS) takes majority of the revenues in 2023. Stereo headsets have become the biggest installed base segment among Bluetooth headsets. True Wireless Stereo(TWS) is the biggest stereo subgroup having lions share of the Bluetooth stereo headset installed base.
